Cherry blossoms|Takaya Shrine

Takaya Shrine (Inazumi-Taisha) has long been known as the “Shrine of Cherry Blossoms”.
Usually from late March to early April, cherry blossoms in full bloom cover the steep hill and other paths leading to the shrine grounds. Even those who are worried about their legs and back can enjoy the rows of cherry trees on the beautiful paved path near Inazumi-Taisha Shrine.
Every year in April, the Takaya Festival is held, with chosa and shishimai dedicated to the gods. The sight of the brave chosa parading in the midst of cherry blossoms in full bloom is sure to impress.
