Sakaguchiya manufactures and sells Japanese-style confections centering on “Dorayaki,” a soft-tasting sweet made with a fluffy, moist crust carefully baked one by one and filled with homemade sweet bean paste.
Among the popular products are “Nama Dorayaki,” including the popular “Plain” made with fresh cream and sweet bean paste, “Matcha” made with tea leaves produced in Takase, and seasonal fruits and ingredients that are available only for a limited time.
