Kanonji Athletic Park｜Let’s play while feeling nature and history!

Kanonji Athletic Park is the largest general sports park in the Seisan area. The park features a variety of facilities including an athletic field, a plaza with tennis courts, a baseball field, a trim trail, and an amusement area with playground equipment. The trim trail is suitable for small children and families to enjoy together. The playground is well-equipped, with swings that have backrests for the safety of young children. Additionally, the park has preserved ancient burial mounds, offering visitors the opportunity to enjoy both sports and a touch of history.

Six pieces of playground equipment are installed. There are swings with backrests and equipment designed for toddlers, allowing young children to play safely and comfortably.

There are 10 pieces of equipment designed to improve balance. Additionally, there is a 1 km walking course (about 15 minutes) where you can enjoy the changing seasons while walking.

Athletic Field (Category 3 Certified Facility)

・400-meter Track (8 lanes) with all-weather urethane surface (renovated in April 2017)
・Field all covered with grass (soccer, lacrosse, ground golf, etc.)

Multipurpose Plaza

It is large enough to accommodate one soccer field and two softball fields. (Nighttime lighting facilities are available.)

Grassy Field

Can be used for ground golf, gateball, and other activities.
※ Use of the field is free of charge. Please be considerate and share the space with others.

An asphalt-paved area of approximately 4,000 square meters, suitable for various uses. Please enter from the south side city road.

※ Please consult with the Sports Park Administration Office in advance before using the area.
※ The area is closed at 17:00, so please be aware.

Hagamiyama, which includes the sports park, is home to numerous ancient burial mounds, such as the Kanzuzuka Ancient Tomb and Hisagozuka Ancient Tomb. You can enjoy nature while experiencing history.
