Okashi Kobo Botan is a café and furniture workshop run by a confectioner’s wife and a woodworker’s husband.
When you first arrive, you will be greeted by a cute cat and a dog on the premises.
In its 14th year of operation, the café stopped serving lunch in order to allow customers to enjoy delicious cakes and baked goods more leisurely, and instead focuses on daily cake specials, whimsical sweet plates, and baked goods.
The furniture used in the café is warm and comfortable, made by the owner, a woodworker, with great care. Why not relax and enjoy the lovely and gently tasting handmade treats while experiencing the nature of the satoyama and the gentleness of the wooden furniture?
