Each of Matsubaya’s sweets has a cute, bite-sized appearance. The buns are filled with sweet red bean paste and are not too sweet. The size and taste are such that you can eat them all in one bite. The “Wain Castella,” which is softly fragrant when you put it in your mouth, is also moderately sweet and has a mature taste. All of the sweets are basically low in sweetness, so they are recommended as gifts for people who do not have a sweet tooth.
