Ibukijima Folk Museum

The Ibukijima Folk Museum is a handmade museum built by the islanders in the former Ibuki Kindergarten. It preserves and exhibits fishing equipment, folk tools, and documents left on the island. It is a valuable place to learn about the history and customs of Ibukijima. In the fall, visitors can see a rare butterfly called Asagimadara flying around the flowers in the garden.
