Azalea|Kannonji City Sports Park

Vivid red, white, and pink azaleas can be seen on the bank of Mitani Pond in Kannonji City Sports Park. About 440 large azalea plants are planted on the embankment of Mitani Pond, and they are usually at their best from mid-April. In preparation for the annual “Rhododendron Festival,” carp streamers will be hung until Children’s Day, and the azalea and carp streamers will compete with each other to the delight of visitors strolling by.
