Bell Tower of Ryusen-ji Temple |Beautiful bell tower with a multi-storied hakama waist

The bell tower of Ryusen-ji Temple is a beautiful bell tower with a multi-tiered hakama waist.
A bell tower is a building within a temple for ringing a bell. It is said to have been built in 1696 (Genroku 9) in the middle of the Edo period (1603-1868) and moved from Kotodama Hachimangu Shrine in 1877. It is a two-story structure, and the bell can be struck by pulling down the rope with a pulley.
On December 31, the temple holds a New Year’s bell ringing ceremony.
